The killer's legal team did not deny his guilt but claimed racism played a key role in the jury's decision to land him with the death penalty

A death row murderer made no final words and refused his last meal before his execution. Kevin Johnson, 37, was handed the death penalty for the murder of police officer William McEntee.

The killer's legal team did not deny his guilt but claimed racism played a key role in the jury's decision to land him with the death penalty. For his crimes, the 37-year-old was sentenced to death by lethal injection at Missouri state prison. Prior to their death, all inmates on death row are allowed a final meal of their choosing, however the 37-year-old turned down this opportunity. He also turned down the opportunity to give a final statement prior to his execution.
