The Little Britain star will make five appearances in the county in June

One-half of the famed comedy duo behind Little Britain and Come Fly with Me will be performing a series of shows in Nottinghamshire this summer. David Walliams will be performing a reading from his latest comic book series at a Nottinghamshire school before playing four shows at Nottingham's Theatre Royal in June.

The 52-year-old will visit the Southwell school on Saturday, June 8, and perform humorous readings from his first comic book, ASTROCHIMP. A statement from The Bookcase, which is a partner of the event, reads: "Join David Walliams to celebrate the publication of his first ever comic book adventure ASTROCHIMP in a one-hour spectacular."The event will include hilarious performative readings and a chance to get your questions answered live on stage. It's fun for all the family.
