David Moyes says decision on West Ham future will wait until end of season

manager David Moyes says he has been offered a new contract but will wait until the end of the season to make a decision on his future. The 60-year-old’s existing deal is set to expire in June and his position has come under pressure in recent weeks after overseeing eight games in all competitions without a win. “Moyes out” banners and placards were visible in the away end at the City Ground on Saturday as West Ham were beaten 2-0 by — but Moyes claimed his future was in his hands.

” West Ham’s winless run has coincided with the absence of winger , who has been sidelined with a calf injury since the beginning of January. Moyes confirmed the 26-year-old has returned to training and is in contention to feature against on Monday. “Lucas Paqueta is back in training and very close to returning, so that will give us a boost,” Moyes said. “He’s in contention and we’ll have to see where he is.
