"Come together and support what we promised the electorate," Mr Davis told them.

"Much of that at the moment is about the fact we haven't delivered on a referendum, which was the biggest democratic vote in the history of this country."We've got to deliver on it."Mr Davis predicted the"Spartans" would indeed back a deal secured by Mr Johnson. "There's little doubt the deal we'll come up with this week will not be perfect from the point of view of people like me, or what you call the 'Spartans' or whatever," Mr Davis added.

Mr Davis also predicted the DUP, who refused to support Mrs May's deal due to its backstop arrangement for the Irish border, would also back an agreement secured by Mr Johnson."That's incredibly important to them - it's also incredibly important to the Conservative and Unionist Party.

Demand for David Attenborough tickets outstrips Glastonbury, Wimbledon and OlympicsHe is already a national treasure, veteran broadcaster and, at 93, the poster boy for a climate-conscious young generation who look to him to save the planet. Having read his biography (thanks SandyFlemingTV ) this is an extraordinary late chapter ! ⭐️ I wonder if he will mention once more how we should not send food to the third world because it is making overpopulation even worse. I'm guessing not, as that message is not popular with the socialism-hiding-behind-greenwash crowd. Incredible. I hope he gets his facts on climate change right
