With summer just around the corner and hopes of a sun-soaked fling back on the cards, pop sensation Dannii Minogue is back to play Cupid for ten lucky singles as she hosts the UK’s first lesbian dating show, I Kissed a Girl.
Although the show does follow the same format of I Kissed a Boy , Dannii explains how it comes with a number of key differences, several of which she feels will entertain audiences while also teaching them a thing or two. “With lots of queer females on the crew, it created an incredible environment that supported the cast and was a joy to be a part of.”
“In the best possible way, their language cuts to the chase - and I was happily catching up. You will know what I mean when you hear fun descriptions like ‘golden retriever’ and ‘black cat’.” Although Dannii remains tight-lipped about whether any lasting romances have formed, the Australian hitmaker did let slip: “The girls are so much fun. They wore their hearts on their sleeve and they did not hold back - with their affections as well as their opinions.
The first of these tests, which was orchestrated by the crew with some help from Dannii herself, is called Red Flags, and even came with an added bonus of helping the group get to know each other better during the early stages of the Summer.
