With bold new colours, graffiti walls and portraits of Mancunian icons, there's a fresh new look at Manchester's Malmaison Hotel. The hotel has been a landmark on Piccadilly for the past 26 years and was one of the first true"boutique" hotels to open in the city.
The refurbishment comes now ahead of the launch of the second Malmaison Hotel in Manchester city centre.Sales manager Laura Munroe said:"Malmaison Piccadilly has been here 26 years and it's one of the original boutique hotels in the city. "And we have lots of signature wallpaper, including one of a big dragon which is inspired by our head chef John Woodwards's sleeve tattoo. But sustainability has been key - all the furniture has been upcycled in the new-look rooms which are all individually designed."
