ITV's Dancing On Ice star Greg Rutherford was distraught as he talked about having to leave the show after a serious injury.
But Greg's skating partner Vanessa shocked fans when she shared a snap to Instagram showing the pair were heading to the hospital after Greg injured himself during rehearsals. Greg later shared his partner Susie's message again, which read: "Not quite how @gregjrutherford anticipated spending today. Thank you for all your kind messages" and Greg added his own words: "It's been a really s**t day" with a sad face.
When Greg's fellow finalist Miles saw the post on Instagram, he wrote: "Not the same without you brother! Time to recover love you." "Months of work. Blood, sweat and tears have gone into every performance, I have a friend for life in Vanessa James and can't wait for you to see the showcase. It's special."
Top showbiz news Greg spoke up about the incident, saying: "There's certainly been a few moments where I've thought: 'This probably isn't going to happen.' The worst one in particular being when the groin tore, which will be four weeks on Saturday.
