He has now issued an apology on the same platform and clarified his intentions.

‘I want to firstly apologise for my insensitivity and clarify the tweet made a couple of days ago had no malicious intent or a direct target,’ he began.‘Like the majority, I enjoy the show and give my personal opinions on it but I also appreciate that I have to be mindful coming across in a certain light that is not a reflection of me.
