Daisy opted to donate money to a food bank rather than splash out on a designer frock.

Daisy May Cooper has arrived at the 2019 Bafta Awards in a 16-litre bin bag with a train covered in rubbish.

The 33-year-old actress, who is nominated for Best Female Performance in a Comedy Programme for her role as Kerry in BBC Three’s This Country, glided across the red carpet in the black gown, easily putting a number of last week’s Met Gala looks to shame. Cereal packaging, fizzy drinks cans, chocolate bar wrappers and rubber gloves were just some of the items that Daisy dragged behind her as she entered the Royal Festival Hall on London’s Southbank.

Oh, and if that wasn’t enough Daisy also rocked a dustbin lid on her head, complete with a pigeon and egg shells. According to reports, Daisy’s mum made the garment for her as she opted to donate money to a food bank rather than splashing out on a designer frock for the occasion.‘I decided I would donate the money I would spend on a normal dress to a food bank and come as a bin bag,’ she told cameras.Yep, Daisy is officially our hero.

Hard-working Conservative councillors have been sacrificed at the altar of May'The Prime Minister must bear the brunt of the blame for last week's local election wipeout,' Norman Tebbit writes. That's not entirely fair. Her entire party was stupid enough to put her in charge. Last week's catastrophic results are solely the responsibility of May and her pro-EU cabal. They've shown that their desperation to keep us shackled to the EU means more than either party or country. A more honourable PM would've resigned. Sadly, Mrs. May isn't honourable. I think its your entire party to blame..esp the hard core corrosive erg's ..🙄😲😣😣😣 You deserved the wipe out at last weeks elections'
