A DAD who has kept a snowball in his freezer for 10 YEARS is now flogging it on eBay.

Lee Thackaberry, 43, popped the snowball in a freezer bag after a memorable drunken snowball fight with family and friends and even kept it through a house move.Thackaberry, 43, was inspired by an article about a ten-year-old snowball selling for £10,000The greenkeeper decided to freeze it after seeing a news report about a snowball that was frozen for ten yearsLee, of East Grinstead, Sussex, told The Sun: “It’s incredible, I can’t believe how long it’s survived. It’s all intact.

“I remember that week there was a particularly heavy snowfall. I went to the pub on a sledge with some neighbours and we had a snowball fight with my wife and friends in the garden on the way home. The snow must have been eight inches deep. “We came back from the pub quite merry and decided to have a snowball fight. The snow was so thick we nearly lost out little Jack Russell Pebbles. We couldn’t find him for ages with how thick the snow was.“Ten years on and here we are. I want to sell it. My wife thought I was mad and I probably am. It’s taken quite a lot of space in the freezer.It is currently on eBay for sale at 99 pence with another ten days to go.
