Detectives say the car involved was a silver three door Vauxhall Corsa hatchback. They have appealed to locals who may have witnessed the incident to come forward – particularly those with CCTV or dash-cam footage. A wing mirror, which struck Jess’ face, was also left behind at the crash site.
