North Norfolk District Council has agreed to put in extra shoreline protections in Cromer and Mundesley.Speaking at a development committee meeting on Thursday, Conservative councillor Dr Victoria Holliday said putting in "all this paraphernalia" was unfortunate, but there was "no option".The Cromer scheme includes refurbishments to the timber groynes - wooden structures built perpendicular to the shore - navigation beacons and sea walls.
