A trophy hunted filmed celebrating after he crept up and killed a lion who was sleeping on the ground has been identified as Guy Gorney.
Footage of the shooter, 64, from Manhattan, has swept across social media with people saying they’re sickened to witness it. He then shakes his hand, telling him: ‘That Mr Gorney is a very nice lion. Well done. Very nice lion.’ As they stand over the body of the dead lion, the guide says again: ‘Well done sir, very nice lion. Beautiful. That is an exceptional lion.’The lion was shot while it was sleeping Guy Gorney has killed animals for sport as a hobby, boasting he has killed at least 70 big game animals and posing with a dead rhino, elephant and hippo in pictures posted online.
