The only Covid jab currently authorised in the UK for under-18s is the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.to children aged over 12 who are at higher risk of getting ill and to those on the verge of turning 18.
Speaking ahead of the July decision, England's chief medical officer Prof Chris Whitty said the JCVI were confident vaccines would protect children to a high degree.
They extended it to younger vulnerable groups a few weeks ago….but…you can’t book online or over the phone if you’re under 18 so even though it’s opened up there’s no way of arranging an appointment
Are the schools also indemnified like the manufacturers and administers of the vaccine? Because informed consent must be obtained without coercion. Are they fully informed of ingredients & risks along with recovery rates of covid for their age range? Not just side effects.
Anybody who lets there kids get that shite doesn't deserve them
Not about health.
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO FUCK NO
They vaccinate children and there are countries that suffer from a shortage of vaccines, the monopoly on vaccines must stop No to monopoly on vaccines 😡😡😡😡
Bit late for my 16 yo who caught it last week
Poor kids…. Glad I haven’t got any, so that they don’t have to grow up in this sick carry on
Get the 17 year olds off to uni in 5 weeks done first in Scotland
Great news but how about letting 18 year olds have their second dose earlier than the present 8 week wait. Our local health authority are throwing away vaccines daily. Surely let the young ones have these vaccines. Not all young people are against these jabs!!
Don’t expect a return to school in Sep until vax provided to those aged 12+… needs to be delivered by Sep not in progress
thanks
