Trust regulator on AstraZeneca vaccine safety, PM Boris Johnson says

The European Medicines Agency's safety committee has been reviewing very rare cases of unusual blood clots in people vaccinated with the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine.

During a visit to the AstraZeneca manufacturing plant in Macclesfield, Cheshire, Mr Johnson defended its vaccine. Speaking to an Italian newspaper in a personal capacity, Marco Cavaleri, head of vaccines at the EMA, is reported to have suggested a clear link between the jab and rare blood clots, though admitted there was uncertainty how the vaccine would cause the complication.

The MHRA is investigating reports of a very rare and specific type of blood clot in the brain, known as cerebral venous sinus thrombosis , occurring together with low levels of platelets following vaccination.which has paused it for people aged below 60In total, the UK has secured 457 million Covid vaccine doses, of which 100 million are from AstraZeneca. Vaccines from Moderna will be deployed in the UK "around the third week of April", Vaccines Minister Nadhim Zahawi has said.

Lost Trust years ago bojo

Vaccine road map needed beyond 2021 1. Target date for all to be vaccinated 2. What will stock availability be May for those needing 2nd dose & dates for all to have 2nd Jab 3. Once most vaccinated how often will a booster be needed 4. What UK based infrastructure needed to do

Trust isn't scientific, there is no coincidence.

Trust Boris ?lol what does he know?

I trust viruses boris never if he last man in world never

I dont believe its the vaccine itself, i think its interacting with something in the body, or its to do with the way they vaccinate people, maybe hitting a vein in some people.. they need to get to the bottom of this.

Trust this guy?

I’ve had my first AstraZeneca vaccine today.

In Germany AZ is used for all age groups, but those under 60 will receive personal medical guidance. Second dose BioNtech Or Moderna. This will hopefully stop the very rare but dangerous cerebral blood clots that can occur. This is not political.

We trust regulator but do we trust boris

The regulator's job is to get new medicines and treatments to market NOT to check for safety. They have quoted this openly many times.
