A Covid patient who’s been in intensive care for 100 days was finally reunited with his beloved dog Coco in hospital.

His girlfriend Claire Wickham, 39, said: ‘Straight away he knew when he heard her bark and said “That’s Coco”.‘It has definitely given him a major boost and made him want to push that bit harder.’ The carer, from Ramsgate, Kent, was admitted on January 19 and rushed to ICU the following day so he could be put on a ventilator.Alan Finch can barely move his hands but gently stroked his beloved dog Coco
