Covid: 'No reason' not to give boosters to under-50s

Rolling out booster jabs to younger age groups could help cut Covid infection rates to low levels across the UK, a leading scientist has said.

No not really! Considering the virus has a 99.9% recovery rate. Plus the fact that the vaccine remains substantially more dangerous. This clearly isn’t about safety or science.

What age is classed as young? At present those of us under 50 are not eligible for a booster ( unless in vulnerable Group) surely we should have option for 3rd on basis that we keep being told the effectiveness if vaccines reduces significantly by 6 months ?

For what reason? Scientifically they don’t need them. Killing children’s immunity leaves them with a life of illness and drugs?

A second jab first would be good.

The young shouldn’t have been given ANY covid vaccines, it poses no threat to them and them being vaccinated doesn’t stop them spreading it. Unless you are at risk a vaccine is a needless exercise
