The Omicron Covid variant is likely to ‘outcompete Delta’ in many, if not all, regions, an infectious disease researcher says; nightclubs in France will be ordered to close for four weeks to counter a Covid surge

The Netherlands is drafting in soldiers to support hospitals as Covid cases surge, Agence France-Presse reports. The UMC Utrecht hospital has opened a second care unit which can take patients with Covid-19 from across the region and is being helped by 50 members of the military with medical backgrounds. “What we are try to do here is to increase the amount of nursing beds that we have for Covid patients,” Martin van Dijk, a Dutch military aid coordinator, told AFP.

I’m doing fine with my third no problem whatsoever now with the flu shot, when will the non- VAXer realise how stupid they are because when they are dead it is too late. remember you all get vaccinated and wear a mask when needed and be a part of the solution and not the problem.

France has only allowed people who’ve been vaccinated into their night clubs for months and they’ve got to show vaccine passports so fully vaccinated people are spreading this virus as well as the unvaccinated so how can you discriminate

Should be a good news, omicron is milder.

You just can't make this sh!t up.🤭

🤔

Covid-19 and its variants are in charge. Not bumbling politicians and their medical advisors.

thanks
