The first question comes from our political editor Laura Kuenssberg. She asks that now the UK has reported a record number of daily cases, if now isn't the time for extra lockdown rules - when will be?"It's a double strategy," he says - the Plan B measures and the booster campaign - and it's the"right mixture" to do both these things at once.

He reiterates his call for people to wear masks inside, do daily testing if they come into contact with someone with Omicron, and get tested when they want to go to a nightclub or other events. He says these restrictions coming in will help slow the spread of the disease, and adds"we're using a tool we didn't have a year ago" - which is vaccination.
