The government could change the rules around mask wearing next month, the health secretary has told Sky News.

Matt Hancock said ministers"haven't ruled that out" as part of step four of England's roadmap for easingThe wearing of face coverings in a range of settings, including in shops and on public transport, has been required since last summer. He said ministers would publish guidance on close personal conduct."It depends on people's circumstances.

"We will set out really clearly the risks. People understand the risks - we know that - and we'll make that very, very plain and then people can exercise their own personal responsibility." Let the sheep wear them forever. It’s a useful social tool to know who not to mix with.

Didn't have to wear one for the initial first 4 months.....

They should be changed. People who want to wear them can carry on. The rest of us don't want to be forced into wearing them.....

All these people panicking in the replies. 'I'LL KEEP WEARING MINE FOREVER, I NEVER GET ILL!!' It's the fact nobody has been mixing, not the masks you weirdos. You're gonna get ill again like humans always have. Sorry. Maybe just seal yourselves off at home.

Hope so. That will be the biggest sign of things going back to normal for me.
