NHS England says the facility is available to help the capital's hospitals as Covid-19 cases rise.

Nightingale hospitals in Manchester, Bristol and Harrogate are in use currently for non-Covid patients, the spokesman added.

He said: "Covid inpatient numbers are rising sharply so the remaining Nightingales are being readied to admit patients once again should they be needed, in line with best clinical practice developed over the first and second waves of coronavirus." He told a Downing Street press conference on Wednesday: "We asked all the Nightingale hospitals a few weeks ago to be ready to take patients if that was required.

falseflag BS

COVID better known as certificate of identification

About time. How can it be right that seriously ill people are being transported from Kent to Plymouth because of a shortage of ICU beds? They must drive past the Nightingale hospital..

Can admit patients, but there's no staff, useful....

Get on with the vaccines then we wont need these

Why has it taken so long to use these hospitals, does the NHS think they cost nothing to provide? In the meantime people suffering for other life-threatening conditions were dismissed.

Really? The last pictures I saw it had been dismantled TiceRichard ?

Is this a hurried response to the leaked e mail setting out the unfolding situation at London Royal ? It was reported earlier the London Nightingale had been emptied of beds and equipment leaving just an empty Excel behind !

Better late than never I guess

My brother in law tested positive today.. after testing positive some 7 weeks ago.. no symptoms. Standard testing for his job. It’s all bollox the numbers can not be correct.

😂 yeah just like last time

Any pictures or videos from inside or do we just take your word for it?

Whos getting the sack for this lie. How many times are the government and media going to get caught out talking shit before heads start rolling 🤔

Translation: Due to NHS underfunding and understaffing, the receptionist at Nightingale hospital will be doubling up as a surgeon, and the contract cleaner will be doubling up to operate ventilators and medical equipment.

Currently transferring patients from Kent to the West Country so it might be the right time to open them - providing there is the manpower

Yeah? Where are the staff coming from?

Lies. I'd say one of the worst yet.

Not before time!

I heard they had forgotten to put in toilets.. Which im sure (mostly), that cant be true 😃
