"Putting France on the red list is something we will have to look at," the Prime Minister told Ms Cooper, though he went on to talk about the potential damage to trade.
There was more news on travel. Later, the PM confirmed on Easter Monday, April 5, the Government will report its plans to get Britons flying again. But is that really good news for would-be holidaymakers in Europe? Probably not. The other big announcement, in response to a question from former health secretary Jeremy Hunt, was that there will be a Bill on social care in the Queen's Speech, now scheduled for 11 May.
Why do under 40’s require vaccination, it should not be made compulsory! The risk to someone under 40 who is healthy is minimal. It should be an individuals choice whether to be vaccinated or not. BorisJohnson MattHancock
Judging by the comments people really love a pub don't they 🤣
Will be a huge opportunity to offer solice to people that have been made 2nd class citizens if medical apartheid is introduced to the UK
We live in a democracy and a capitalist society. If this is enforced there will be huge opportunities. As an entrepreneur I’d be interested in opening any type of business that discriminates against NOBODY.
Why would a business that has had its trade hindered for the last year be demanding proof of vac from customers. Thus hindering its future trade if it’s not a legal requirement. It’ll just cause confrontation and loss of trade. It’s a non starter.
f u have been vaccinated u can still catch and pass covid on, what difference does it make if u are sat next to a non vaccinated person in a pub? U can catch it from a vaccinated and a non vaccinated person. Resign please BorisJohnson vaccine VaccinePassports
I fully support a COVID “passport” BUT only when EVERYONE has had the opportunity to be vaccinated
Any segregation due to health / covid status is discriminatory.

The right approach imo
🤣🤣 the idea that any pub, who have had their livelihoods crippled for a year, would turn customers away is ridiculous.
PM hasn’t got a clue, as if any pub would do this, they’d be out of business
Vacc Passports ! We are now a dictatorship 🇰🇵
Presuming that applies to staff as well, so firstly landlords have to replace all staff under 40 plus themselves if they're under 40 until vaccinated. Could call them Saga pubs, dominoes, walking sticks and close at 9pm.
Ha ha ha cos my pub was full of 60-85 yr old people everyday before lockdown ✊💦
Could. Not will. ££££&
Who cares vaccinated or not pubs must run their business to meet up savings to cover past few months depts during shot down.
Landlords of property of any type can bar anyone anyway, when you enter a pub you are a licensee, if they don’t want you on their land they simply remove that agreement, no reason needed. This is just noise from Bojo, nothing more than sounding like he is doing something
Landlords are not going to turn people away from spending money.
Boris needs his head examined.
More garbage
That will lead to illegal, non-compliant parties then - thus making the situation less safe. Also some pubs won't open if they can only serve those 40+, particularly those in student-y areas, what would be the point?
Why exactly? The vaccine only stops you getting a severe case of Covid. It doesn't stop you catching it or passing it on so help me understand his logic behind his statement.
Unless pub staff are now classed as 'key workers' who qualify for the vaccine.... could they be banned from going to work too?
If thick students can get false proof of age ID's - how will this work with Covid jab certificates?
Project Fear operation ran by a donut
Considering alot of pub staff are under 40 and wont have had their vaccine yet, I guess there wont be any staff in the pubs then either, so the pubs wont be open anyway 🤷♀️🤷♀️
Which landlords are going to bar the heavy drinking brexit/anti-lockdown lot?
Not to worry pub landlords don’t give a toss about anything apart from selling pints. Wether its to under 18’s or people with COVID as long as they’ve got a tenner in their pocket.
“Boris Johnson makes an empty statement about giving Landlords powers they already have (right to bar) but he knows they won’t use for this”
It's not April 1st yet....
Don’t worry folks... pub landlords will not use that power given to them....they will not be turning customers away
