Tracy and Rory Vorster made the 'grotesque' discovery whilst exploring their new property

A couple were left stunned after discovering a 'ghoulish' feature lurking above their toilet. Whilst exploring their 700-year-old home, which they moved into in March, Tracy and Rory Vorster stumbled upon an ancient stone figure in their bathroom.

"The previous occupant had been here for over 20 years, so surely they knew, but we had absolutely no clue it was there." Having moved into the historic dwelling on March 1, the couple previously lived just a few doors away in another house, which Tracy claims is "haunted". "It was well documented, but not that many people around here know it. It's been documented to the 14th century. It would have been for a vicar. A lot of people implied a cult, but I thought it was like a kitchen sink."

Parents' Concerns About Swollen Belly Lead to Urgent Hospital Visit for ToddlerWhen Rory Harty's parents noticed they could no longer fasten his nappies, they assumed he just needed a larger size. However, when the two year old developed a persistent cough and became sniffly, they decided to take him to a GP. The doctor suspected that the little one was suffering from bronchitis, an inflammation of the airways which usually resolves on its own. A few days later, Rory's parents, Rachael and Andrew, became concerned as they noticed Rory had a swollen belly and seemed extremely tired, reports the Manchester Evening News. Rachael, 33, decided to take her son to A&E, thinking Rory might have a chest infection and they would be sent home with antibiotics. However, a receptionist, alarmed by how ill Rory looked, alerted a doctor to his worsening condition and the family were quickly taken to an adult resuscitation area.
