Corrie star Tina O'Brien 'crisis meeting' with ITV bosses after attack

Coronation Street favourite Tina O'Brien is reported to have held crisis talks with bosses at ITV following an attack outside her home.

The actor, 40, has reportedly been left "traumatised" by the incident and has now been given time off work to recover. A video shot near her house appears to show her involved in an altercation with several others. Tina, famed for playing Sarah Platt on the ITV soap, can be seen having her hair pulled back as she attempted to diffuse the situation. Wearing a striped top and pink jogging bottoms, Tina appeared to grab one of the girls and allegedly told her: "Get away from the f****** house."The footage, obtained by The Sun, emerged on Thursday of the vicious fight. A source told the paper: "Tina went straight to meet her Corrie bosses this morning.

The fight took place metres from Tina's £1million home in Bramhall, Stockport, around 8pm last Friday . The insider also alleged how Tina "has been plagued by problems" near her house, which she shares with her husband Adam Crofts and her two children. But on this occasion, she attempted to "try to deal with it" in a bid to "defend herself and her home."

Tina is believed to have reported the incident to the police, with Greater Manchester police confirming they were looking into it. A spokesperson for Tina told Daily Star: "Tina was the victim of an unprovoked incident outside her home which she has reported to the police."
