The former Coronation Street star, 37, shared her anger over the obesity crisis and how Krispy Kreme are offering free doughnuts to those in the US who had received the coronavirus vaccine.

She told her 630,000 followers in a later video clip: “We all know that for years now, the UK has been in an obesity crisis, an obesity epidemic. The Government doesn’t seem to give two hoots, we also know that if you contract Covid and are obese or overweight the struggle is much worse – 85% of fatalities have been obese or overweight [people].

“Leaving gyms to the last minute, when statistically they’re one of the lowest places that you can catch Covid. My mind is blown!”
