Corrie's Ellie Leach says 'that's fun' over realisation amid Strictly training

Former Coronation Street star Ellie Leach has made an unfortunate realisation about herself as she gets stuck in to training for her next big gig. She's been away from the ITV soap for months now after leaving earlier this year after 12 years playing Faye Windass.

While viewers still need to wait to find out which celebrity has been partnered with which professional dancer, the couples have already been decided and this week they got to work training giving them two weeks to practice before the first official live show on Saturday, September 23.And while only a few days in, the training is already taking a toll, particularly on the new contestants' feet. Taking to Instagram Ellie shared a picture of her choice of footwear as she travelled in a car.

It comes after Ellie was flooded with messages from her former Corrie co-stars and fans as she debuted her first big Strictly makeover. The show had already teased fans by sharing the first picture of this year's celebrity stars together in all their glitz and glam for the first time last week. Strictly has since shared all the individual snaps of the stars ready to dazzle in the ballroom with Ellie taking to Instagram to share hers. The 22-year-old beamed for the camera as she showed off her sparkling gold dress. The outfit boasted a crossover front, that had been completely bedazzled, with capped sleeves and a tassled skirt. The look had been paired with some silver heels while Ellie's brunette locks had been tied up into a ponty with longer bangs kept down to frame her face.
