Corrie's Andy Whyment addresses soap wage after posing with new £40k car

Coronation Street star Andy Whyment responded to one of his social media followers who suggested his new car wasn't swish enough for someone 'with all his money'.

Andy actually appeared in the ITV soap in 1990 and 1997 and was just referred to as Mark. Earlier this year, fans were baffled when they caught an episode of Classic Corrie and were quick to spot Maria had called Kirk a different name in their earlier scenes. With him expected to stay on the cobbles for some time longer, with Andy reportedly signing a contract for another year, it'd be fair to say that some think they know Andy quite well - even to the point of assuming his wages from bosses at Corrie.
