People booking for holidays right now shouldn't complain when they are chasing refunds soon. Buyers beware, or at least allow you might not get your money back. At least hold off until the air corridors are agreed and insurance is valid, surely?

. Too many lives lost due to Tory incompentence CoronaVirus Covid19

Getting a refund is proving to be extremely difficult.

I suppose gone on holiday to Alicante with my family this month and we was supposed fly with Ryan air but in may our flights was cancelled from Manchester to Alicante and we are still waiting for our money back from Ryan air but they are taking ages to refund my family and me

WHY TRAVEL UNDER THESE CONDITIONS IS IT THAT IMPORTANT

mad dogs and englishmen go out in the midday sun

In Sydney at the end of summer, we closed out beaches including Bondi. No distancing ruled because no people on the beaches.

Booked holiday to Portugal well before pandemic was announced. Travel insurance nul and void, easyJet ignoring all communication, including phone calls. Have decided not travel even though flight going ahead. Will never see a refund.

So this article doesn’t tell me what I want to know. Can I claim a refund if the country I want to travel to (Portugal) doesn’t have an air bridge and we are unable to quarantine due to my daughter starting sixth form? Holiday booked pre-pandemic.

well you can always go round with heavies and baseball bats....it's money collection innit....🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

Free access to viruses, this is your the travel rights

Dirty people on a beach were did you wash and piss Was Cummings there too

Who cares..our government is opening up travel corridors to the worst hit covid nations on earth..Italy, France, Spain etc. Over 75% of all our original imported cases came from these countries..more genius from the Uk government.

For anyone who booked travel after March - I doubt refunds will be possible in the majority of cases. If anyone booked travelled prior to March that should be easier - planning travel as a pandemic started to unfold is not a good idea.

Who wants a refund now Get away .enjoy yourself

I am all for things getting back to some normality. However, think its ridiculous that from next week we can go to pubs, travel abroad and go to theme park etc. which is great, but we can still only get emergency appointments for drs and dentists!!
