Arrests after UK lockdown parties & '17-mile kebab run'

UK Defence Secretary Ben Wallace says “strong personal discipline” like that seen in the military will help keep people safe if the two-metre distancing rule is relaxed in workplaces.

"The two-metre rule is a combination of factors designed to limit the likelihood of catching something, which includes time spent next to each other. And I think there are methods around rotating your workforce, how you meet, plus very basic personal discipline .

Breaking: There Are Idiots

im sure Plod are well proud of their actions ..what they gonna do when the riots and civil disorder surely startup once ALL these people with no jobs no money NOTHING to live for just kick off tho ?!?!?

Yet BBC 'reporters' travel the length and breadth of the country to report drivel like this.

In a few months these things won’t even be a crime and yet they have a criminal record

Arrests made for lock-down party and '17-mile' trip to kebab should read 'Arrest made for burglary and driving in dangerous car without insurance ...' but that wouldn't make for a good COVID story now would it ...

Watch out for the do gooder!

Selfish people who don’t care about anyone else fines are to easy on these people

Lockdown

The kind of story that brings out all the curtain twitching, lockdown Nazis in the comments. “Burn him!” You dismal fascists.

17-mile kebab run is nothing comparing the urge for fish & chips! lockdownuk TheNewNormal

Surely a kebab is not an essential grocery? Pure madness going 17 miles just for some greasy crap.

Ffs is this the one daniel_ellul83 did?!

Do we know what the name of the kebab shop was by any chance?

I live in a rural village and it’s about a 18 mile round trip to nearest village that has supermarkets, shops and takeaways (that don’t deliver) and I’ve been a few times and will continue to do so. No harm if it’s justifiable

f*ck the police

They will get together anyway or have been maintaining contact from the beginning and they’re only putting themselves at risk if one of them has the virus. They aren’t about to go invading the houses of people observing lockdown. This is making the provision an end in itself.

‘What you in for mate?’ ‘Drove 17 miles for a kebab, you?’

17 mile kebab run? Must have had the 'trots' really bad then!

I would crawl on broken glass for 17 miles for a cracking kebab. I see no issues with this!

Lockclowns 🤔😆

It will NOT STOP if You not do anything.
