Coronavirus tests: Why can't NHS staff get tests for coronavirus but Prince Charles can?

Clarence House confirmed Prince Charles, 71, was diagnosed with COVID-19 and said the royal displayed “mild symptoms” on Sunday before being tested on Monday. The results came through late on Tuesday night, the statement said, adding Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall does not have coronavirus.Minister of State for Health Edward Argar told Good Morning Britain this morning that the UK is trying to “continually ramp up the level of testing”.

This story is old. Stop rehashing it. I work in a hospital & we aren’t getting tested in the states either.

The answer is obvious, but when you think about it , his dad is 98 and his mother is 93 . How many married couples are there in this country that are in their 90’s and still have their faculties about them . Privilege is a wonderful thing , it is what it is and good luck to them.

Why can’t they live in palaces and have servants?

Because Prince Charles’s job is to meet and greet huge numbers of people and it would be a disaster for him, the people he meets and his staff, if he didn’t know he had it. Plus there aren’t enough tests for everybody yet. Next.
