Shadow universities minister, EmmaHardyMP, tells KayBurley Education Secretary Gavin Williamson should apologise to students, and says she is 'very worried' there will be high university drop out rates. KayBurley:

Eighteen workers at a Bernard Matthews turkey plant in Suffolk have tested positive for coronavirus and are self-isolating, the company has confirmed.

Food production at the processing facility in Holton, near Halesworth has not been affected by the outbreak, the firm said. Around 100 staff have been tested for COVID-19, with most returning negative results and additional testing taking place this week. The site has had controls in place since March to reduce coronavirus infections, including regular temperature checks, staff working in bubbles, COVID marshals, masks and visors and social distancing throughout the site.

The majority of the 18 workers who tested positive live in the Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft areas and the cases are believed to have initiated in the community, the company said.

Hardly breaking news is it... pubs shutting a little bit early

horrible

EmmaHardyMP KayBurley I’d like to ask EmmaHardyMP if she thinks Universities carry any responsibility for bringing students back in the full knowledge that the autumn would usher in problems? Or are they entirely innocent?

EmmaHardyMP KayBurley So much politicization, so little time. It's pretty bad when their opinions on issues of the day are so predictable.

EmmaHardyMP KayBurley Dropping dead is more of a worry.
