mutant_me11 Bull shit..

Research from years ago showed low vit D increased the chances of respiratory illness. Also, darker skins make vit D slower than lighter skin. Feel free to Google it.

There's some irony.

But they told everyone to stay indoors The elderly have been locked up inside their homes and residential homes since March! Part of the masterplan

Uhhh... Seattle vs NYC. People in Seattle are chronically deficient in vitamin D, because we don't get much sun here. And yet, despite being the first epicenter, our R0 is significantly lower than NYC *because we took precautions early on*.

I never lose my 1hour/day sun-bath.

“Listen to the science“

This could also apply to those in care homes, many who rarely go out in the sunshine.

Suu get out there and get the 'D' then...

This is so simplistic. Vitamin D is converted from UVB light through the liver, people with health issues will likely have problems with this conversion process as their livers aren’t functioning optimally regardless of UV exposure.

Look who's catching up...

Hmm. I'd suggest also reading this

So banning sunbathing was another f*king stupid idea by 10DowningStreet then?

I thought people were supposed to socially distance, not stay indoors.

CFAware

Yes that's why south Asian countries are rich in Vitamin D and least affected than Europe.
