Coronation Street looks set for explosive scenes next week as Stephen Reid's downfall is teased as his plan to spike Carla Connor's drink with LSD backfires.

In upcoming episodes, Stephen gets a taste of his own medicine when he accidentally drinks Carla’s tea, which he spiked with LSD, just before he goes on stage to do a presentation for the new business. Is he about to unmask his own sins? When Amy feels sick and heads to bed, Aaron climbs into bed next to her and Amy is unaware of what is unfolding.

Elsewhere, Maria Connor and Daisy Midgeley bond and Maria encourages Daisy to report her stalking to the police. She later tells Jenny that she’s been granted a hearing for a Stalking Protection Order. But will her actions put Justin off?
