Over Christmas, when the boozer was shut, Daisy Midgeley stole money from Stephen Reid in order to buy it back. The serial killer pocketed the money from Underworld shortly before he was killed, which meant it technically belonged to Carla.
Moments later, Jenny confessed everything, and Carla was fuming. At the police station, Carla was forced to wait a long time for an officer. Ryan Connor used this to his advantage and managed to persuade his Aunt to not report the crime, largely due to the fact he loves Daisy.
