\nThere\u2019s no \u201ccorrect\u201d way to feel when you lose a baby \u2013 and no \u201ccorrect\u201d length of time to come to terms with it. Everyone who\u2019s experienced a miscarriage feels a different mix and intensity of emotions for differing periods of time.\n\u201cThere really is no right or wrong way to feel about it,\u201d says Ruth Bender Atik of the Miscarriage Association.

\nLook for the right people to talk to \u2013 when you\u2019re ready\nYou may find it very hard to talk about what\u2019s happened to you \u2013 especially if you hadn\u2019t told people about your pregnancy yet.\nAnd sometimes, when you do talk to friends and family, they can do or say things that hurtful or insensitive or maybe expect you to behave in a different way. It can help to remember that, often, people just don\u2019t know what to say or do, however close they are to you.
