Children’s toys and clothes have been deemed "non-essential" and banned from sale in shops by the Welsh government, as the country entered a second national lockdown at 6pm on Friday.

Why are retailers listening to him, what has non essential items got to do with the virus, no logic to this rule.
If you can only get essentials, you won't go out to the shop for other stuff. Less visits to store, less time spent browsing in store, less social interaction. Isn't that a more plausible reason for this, if indeed there is one?
