Connor Barron insists he has no fears over running the Red Army gauntlet of hate after signing for Rangers.
The Scotland U-21 star signed a four-year deal with Rangers last week and is at the centre of a transfer tussle that could go to a tribunal after Pittodrie chiefs kicked out an initial offer of around £500,000. And speaking to the media for the first time as a Gers player he insisted he won’t be fazed by the pelters from Pittodrie punters when he goes head-to-head with his old side in October.
“As a player, you have got to do things for yourself sometimes and do what is best for your career at the right time. I pay my thanks to Aberdeen, they have brought me up from a boy into the player that I am today. I thank them for everything they have done to help me get here in my career. It is the next chapter of my career now at Rangers Football Club and I can’t wait to get going.”
