A man known locally as 'Commander' has been banned from Northampton Town Centre. Action has been taken after he was found harassing council staff and distressing members of the public.

Ebirim was also sentenced to 18 weeks custody for a previous assault on Abington Street. His additional three week stretch for resisting arrest will run concurrently. WNC'S Anti-Social Behaviour Team applied for the order after Ebirim kept entering the Guildhall in St Giles Square, despite being banned from the building. He verbally abused and threatened staff members and distressed and alarmed members of the public in the surrounding area, especially Abington Street.
