Coal fire crackdown and London mosque stabbing

The photo on the front of the Metro is of police pinning down a man at London Central Mosque, after a stabbing during afternoon prayer on Thursday. The paper says Muslims have been warned"they are under attack", with the mosque stabbing coming just hours after nine people were shot dead in Germany. The paper says the suspect in the German shooting"targeted Kurds" and"hated foreigners".

The paper says the diagnosis transformed her outlook on life, quoting her as saying:"The person before the operation is different to this person."The Daily Star asks the Duke of Sussex a question on its front page. The paper says it has been 34 days since Harry and Meghan announced they wanted to step down as senior royals - but the public are"in the dark" over whether the royal couple have paid back the £2.4m it cost to renovate their home, Frogmore Cottage.
