Most awards are for no more than £30 and awarded to the civil servants who have gone above and beyond their job role to help somebody or other work they have completed

What a pathetic story but typical of the level of journalism of this rag. I don’t suppose anyone in the editorial team got a pay award last year

This is an utterly pathetic front page. The majority of the civil service isn't at Whitehall. The civil service is one of the biggest employers in the UK. Most of those workers haven't had a pay rise in years. A £20 voucher for nandos is hardly a big deal. Who funds the tpa?

The Tax Payers Alliance wont say who funds them. They also haven’t asked about why taxpayers’ money was given to Tory mates in the PPE scandal.

You do realise this is the 21st century and it's possible to work from home because teams are based across the country.

And that £30m gift card was for one civil servant who got a Card Factory gift card.

I'm not sure United were ever fully engaged.....they do seem to be rather well provisioned on the flanks. 'tis a centre forward they need and Gakpo is no centre forward.
