The restaurant owners have already confirmed that the building sale will not affect their business. Other buildings being sold include a property on Strelley Road, which houses a branch of Go Local Extra and which features residential accommodation above it.
Land at 306 Colwick Road will also be sold, while the rest of the council assets being sold are industrial units housing several businesses. They include Vernon Place and Logan Square, both of which are based on Northern Court. Granville Court on Leighton Street and Stamford Court on Casterton Road will also be sold. "This will focus on increasing the numbers of assets coming forward for disposal both in the short and medium term, while minimising potential revenue loss to the council, and the implementation of a new model for the management of property assets across the council."
