If the EU wanted, they could make the island of Ireland a special case. They do not want to, they would rather use the Good Friday Agreement, as a means of causing mayhem in the BREXIT process.
Why do people who are paid money to act for a living feel the need to provide their opinions and/or why does certain sections of the media believe it's worthy of publication?
If Ireland wants to keep a no border, please go back to the EU and explain to them that the backstop is not necessary. Additionally, tell the EU that you will make your own deal with the UK.
