Chris Packham calls on Royal Family to rewild estates

The children, their parents and other campaigners carried the Wild Card campaign petition calling on the Royal Family to rewild their estates to the palace on Saturday.COP26 climate summitFormer Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams, chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall author Michael Morpurgo, actors Sir Mark Rylance and Josh O'Connor and Packham's wildlife TV colleague Kate Humble are among those to sign the petition.

"The Royal Family are landowners of some magnitude, they own 800,000 acres of the UK, 1.4% of our land surface." He said that some of the Royal Family's estate - including the Balmoral estate in Scotland - is currently used for deer stalking and grouse shooting with very few trees. Mr Packham said rewilding would help the rural economy, and, if the Royal Family supported his call, it would send an important message to the world.

Would much rather they just gave the land back to the people they stole it from in the first place, personally 🤷‍♀️

I saw a documentary with him where he boldly went to the arctic to prove how much damage we do, thing was the ship and crew seemed to be do more damage than most by their going. He really needs to just stay at home more.

It's hard enough to find Prince Andrew as it is, never mind making it more difficult by swamping him in bloody trees. Just hand him over, instead of all this hide and seek and be done with the estates of the Royals.
