Chris Hemsworth has revealed he’s taking a break from acting after being warned about his future health.
Chris’s genes include two copies of the gene APOE4, one from his mother, the other from his father, which studies have linked to an increased risk of Alzheimer’s. “There was an intensity to navigating it,” he said. “Most of us, we like to avoid speaking about death in the hope that we'll somehow avoid it.
"I had a bunch of questions, but no one answered them. I wish I'd had a more intense follow-up with it because I didn't really know what to think. I was like, “Am I supposed to be worried? Is this concerning?”
