Eighteen people have been killed following a crash involving several vehicles in China, police say.
A minivan hit a tractor travelling in front of it and then collided with a car that was going in the other direction, according to officers.Eight people died at the scene and 10 others who were injured lost their lives in hospital.An inquiry is now under way into the cause of the accident, police said.
The ministry of public security has sent an official team to Jilin to investigate the crash, according to the state-run China Daily.
