A man who forced an 11-year-old boy to perform grueling exercises for seven hours a day and beat the child if he stopped was given five years in prison.
Robert Black-Gamble, 30, was sentenced in Joplin, Missouri last week after he pleaded guilty to felony child abuse. He was one of two men arrested on January 17 after the boy showed up to school with severe bruising on his buttocks. Black-Gamble was charged along with 33-year-old John Mason. The pair babysat the child and reportedly made him perform tough exercises including push-ups, sit-ups, wall sits, and planks while the youngster’s mother was out. Black-Gamble beat the boy with a belt, tree branch, or wooden kitchen utensil if he failed to exercise hard enough, prosecutors said.
I hope they throw him in a cell with a bunch of other rpists and throw the key away.
