Stephen Watson said cops had been doing their 'level best' to safeguard people

Chief Constable Stephen Watson has said his officers are 'doing their level best' to protect Jewish and other communities 'from dreadful things' after terror suspects accused of an ISIS-style gun attack plot appeared in court.
