Chelsea are set to sign Romeo Lavia in deal worth £55 million,The deal will be worth 50m + 5m in add ons, with a contract agreed until 2030 already agreed.Chelsea have offered around £55m for Lavia, who has been the subject of three failed bids from Liverpool worth up to £48m, despite also completing a British-record deal for Moises Caicedo in a deal worth up to £115m.

The final terms of the deal were being negotiated after they agreed to improve on Liverpool’s £111m offer that was accepted by Brighton on Thursday. Caicedo informed Liverpool on Friday that he wanted to join Chelsea, which opened the door again for the London club to renegotiate.
