Chelsea fans loved what they saw from new signing Cole Palmer, who starred for England Under-21s on Monday.
Palmer bagged himself a goal and an assist as the Young Lions made light work of Luxembourg, winning 3-0 in the Under-21 European Championship qualifier.And Chelsea fans are very excited to have the former Manchester City man on boardLee Carsley's side took the lead just before half time as Man City forward Liam Delap, who's on loan at Championship side Hull, poked the ball home from close range.
Delap will have former City teammate Palmer to thank as his cute pass carved through three Luxembourg players before making its way to the scorer. City starlet Callum Doyle doubled England's advantage on 58 minutes before Palmer rounded off the win with a lovely curling effort in-off the crossbar after being teed up by Jamie Bynoe-Gittens.
And it was this strike that's got some Chelsea fans very excited indeed about their new player, and one couldn't resist making a dig at a key player of Palmer's former club.
