Celtic star, Liel Abada, said goodbye to his favourite Glasgow restaurant ahead of his big £8 million move across the pond. The 22-year-old was pictured alongside a member of staff as they posed with a signed strip.

Celtic ace Liel Abada has said goodbye to his favourite Glasgow restaurant ahead of his move across the pond.

The 22-year-old winger was spotted at La Lanterna in Glasgow's city centre as he posed alongside a member of staff holding a signed Abada shirt. The star signed a two year deal with Charlotte FC in North Carolina which is believed to be worth around £8 million. The Italian eatery took to Instagram to wish Abada farewell, they wrote: "La Lanterna said buon viaggio to one of its regular customers the other day. But before crossing the Atlantic @liel.abada popped in to say goodbye.It comes after Abada's former manager revealed the winger had allegedly been treated "disgustingly" by pro-Palestine fans.
